Shake Shack Debuts New Caffeinated Lemonade For Summer

Summer is just around the corner and Shake Shack is inviting guests to enjoy a sip of the season with three fruity lemonade flavors. Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Passionade are back, and joining them is a new flavor, Dragonfruit Pomegranate Lemonade. The trio of drinks might just send your taste buds on a tropical vacation this summer as part of the fast food chain's rotating featured lemonade flavors released periodically throughout the year.
Available for a "limited time only" according to the Shake Shack website, these vibrant beverages are similar to the summer 2022 lemonade flavors, which included both the Strawberry Lemonade and Mango Passionade flavors. This year, the brand has swapped out 2022's Cherry Hibiscus Summerade in favor of Dragonfruit Pomegranate Lemonade. Additionally, there are options to try the lemonades without caffeine or try them "naturally caffeinated" thanks to a proprietary energy boost syrup created by the fast food chain that is made with green coffee extract, Coffeeberry Energy, ginseng, ashwagandha, and guarana.
The promise of switching up the typical drink routine with an added boost of energy makes this product potentially appealing to Shake Shack fans looking to accompany their burger (yes, even a veggie burger) and fries with a refreshing summertime drink. In a 2021 press release, Mark Rosati, culinary director for Shake Shack, said, "At Shake Shack, we always look to use premium ingredients, from our burgers to our beverages. We took our delicious Shack-made Lemonade and added real fruit purees and zest to create some really fun, bold flavors for the springtime."
Shake Shack's summertime sips are available now at all participating U.S. locations, and guests can enjoy them in-store or through delivery. However, remember that the website lists them as "limited time only" lemonade flavors that don't appear to be sticking around as part of the chain's permanent menu.
