Margaret McCormick is a food and lifestyle writer based in Syracuse, New York. She started at The Post-Standard in Syracuse and spent many years there in a variety of positions, including research assistant, copy editor, feature writer, food writer and food section editor. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including Syracuse New Times, AAA Member Connection Magazine and others. She has worked for several companies and nonprofits, managing social media and providing content for websites and blogs. When she's not working, you'll often find Margaret in New York's beautiful Finger Lakes region.


Margaret is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, near Olean, New York. She earned a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, where she learned to ask questions, take notes, think of the reader and build stories around the five Ws and one H: who, what, where, when, why, and how.
