  • Jennifer once took a behind-the-scenes tour of a famous cruise ship's kitchen, seeing how all of the food is made.
  • While in Las Vegas, Jennifer and her husband dined at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, enjoying wagyu steak and ice cream topped with gold flakes.
  • She once recreated an entire fleet of Harry Potter Golden Snitch cake pops for her Children's Literature class in college.


Jennifer got her start in the writing industry by working as a content writer for a major kitchen and restaurant supply company, where she then advanced her way to an editor position. While working there for four years, she also wrote several blog posts and long-form pieces that allowed her to write creatively about her passion for food. Jennifer first joined Alb Media in 2022 and put her English degree and love for research, creative writing, and food to good use as a news writer for Mashed. She left Alb Media briefly before returning again in late 2023 as a feature writer for Today Meal. Food has always been an important part of Jennifer's life, cooking authentic Hungarian dishes with her mom in the kitchen from a young age.


Jennifer earned her associate degree in liberal arts from Walters State Community College. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a creative writing concentration from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. She also attended real estate school and got her Tennessee real estate license in early 2023.
