Jasmine is a writer and editor based in Hawai'i. She enjoys discovering ways to achieve personal financial freedom, such as working summers at fine-dining fishing lodges in Alaska and investing in cryptocurrency, and sharing the knowledge she learns with others. As a former professional cook, current home cook, and lifetime food lover, Jasmine makes it a point to locate the best food in each place and culture she visits. She loves trying out new recipes.


Completing a course in the culinary arts at the Art Institute of Phoenix helped Jasmine further her understanding of and love for food, and studying accounting at the University of Hawai'i Maui College led to her learning the ins and outs of restaurant bookkeeping.
