  • During his time in entertainment journalism, Clement has written film reviews, interviews with filmmakers, film news, and entertainment journalism.
  • Besides film criticism, he has also published two screenplays, some short fiction, and poems in online and print literary magazines.
  • He lived in Scotland for a year pursuing a master's degree, during which time he helped run the first annual Sands: International Film Festival of St Andrews.

Clement joined Alb Media in 2022 and is currently an editor for Looper. He has written media criticism since 2015, with bylines with Film Inquiry, Film Daze, and Frames Cinema Journal. Clement is also the lead culture editor at MAYDAY magazine and a contributing editor with Film Inquiry. He's a huge sci-fi nerd, starting back in grade school when he presented science fair dioramas about genetic sequencing and paleontology — inspired, of course, by "Jurassic Park."

Clement has a bachelor's in film and photography from Ithaca College in upstate New York; he also has a master's degree in film studies from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where he researched, among other things, environmental film, Italian horror cinema, and propaganda.
