Carrie has been a professional journalist and writer for nearly 20 years and has worked for organizations, including USA Today and The New York Times. Today, she is a freelancer who travels widely and takes great pleasure in savoring the food of the world, bringing back ideas for meals in her own kitchen. Carrie joined Alb Media in 2023 and is thrilled to bring her love for all things news and food to the audience of the Today Meal. When she is not reporting, writing, or traveling, Carrie can be found shopping for local ingredients and foodstuffs at historic Findlay Market in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, where she lives, works, and plays.


Carrie has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University.
