Caren has worked as a professional editor for more than two decades. As reviews editor of Kerrang! throughout the 00s, she was instrumental in the magazine's success in its heyday, helping to drive sales to the highest in its history. She has been a professional wordsmith ever since her departure in 2011. She has freelanced for some of the leading lifestyle, culture, and entertainment brands in the UK and around the world, including GQ, Live Nation, Warner Brothers, Universal, and Waitrose Food. As someone who is motivated by food, she enjoys little more than seeking out the best eateries on her extensive travels, which have included many European destinations, Australia, and all across the U.K. and U.S. She joined Alb Media as a freelance editor in 2023, where she puts to use all the knowledge she picks up from watching countless hours of cooking shows on TV and online.


Caren has a Diploma of Higher Education in English language from the Open University.
