  • As a teenager, Antonia spent hours attempting to perfect the various cake recipes she found in The Guardian newspaper, eventually coming up with ingenious vegan variations on each one.
  • She has baked cakes for her local fundraiser, in turn converting a number of omnivorous skeptics onto the joys of vegan baking.
  • In 2013, Antonia catered a party attended by a number of British TV celebrities.

From a young age, Antonia Georgiou has exhibited her dedication to both writing and baking, passions that have coalesced in her published works. At the age of 18, she had her first piece of writing published — a poem she penned for an independent British film. An ardent vegan, she loves nothing more than putting a plant-based twist onto traditional recipes. In addition to Today Meal, she has written for Nicki Swift, The F Word, New Socialist (where she was also culture editor), The Things, Vegan Feminist Network, and Mookychick.

Antonia has a degree in English literature from Queen Mary University of London and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from University College London.
